What is the Alliance for Protection against Non-Ionizing Radiation of Southeast Europe - SEENIRPA

The alliance was created as a result of cooperation between regional associations from Serbia (BIOGEN), Croatia (HUZEZ) and Slovenia (ZEG). The goal of the alliance and individual associations is to raise people's awareness of yet another environmental problem that threatens to greatly pollute the environment, and at the same time it is invisible and as such exerts a quiet and inaudible influence on everything around it, which is NON-IONIZING RADIATION. For the uninitiated, it is the radiation emitted by electrical devices, and the biggest influence is mobile phones, tablets, laptops, computers, wireless internet devices, etc.

Individual members of the SEENIRPA Alliance have invested much more activities in this area than we in Serbia. For example, in Slovenia, the association ZEG (Association of Ecological Movements of Slovenia) has existed for a long time and has been participating in its activities in the issue of electropollution for over 20 years, where the most deserving president of the association is Karel Lipič.
In Serbia, the problem of electropollution has not yet come to the attention of the competent institutions to a greater extent, but following world trends, this will happen soon. The Biogen association with its active members contributes greatly to this.

Back in 2011, the World Health Organization classified non-ionizing radiation, or what laymen would say radiation from mobile phones and similar devices, in group 2B, that is, as POSSIBLE causes of tumors, but in the near future it is expected that this problem will be classified in group 2A as PROBABLE causes of tumors in humans.
In the world, since 2012, around 170 experts have started independent research and found that there is a health risk from non-ionizing radiation and that it is not a possible risk, but a probable risk.

THE GOAL is to awaken environmental awareness among people, users of mobile devices, teleoperators, departmental institutions and not to stop using the benefits of new technologies, but to use them to make our living space as safe and healthy as possible.
