- CROATIAN ASSOCIATION FOR PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION "HUZEZ"; Zagreb; Republic of Croatia and
- UNION OF ECOLOGICAL MOVEMENTS "ZEG"; Ljubljana; Republic of Slovenia
- ALLIANCE OF SOUTH-EAST EUROPE FOR PROTECTION AGAINST NON-IONIZING RADIATION "SEENIRPA" based in Belgrade; Serbia (formed by and on the initiative of the BIIOGEN-HUZEZ-ZEG Association)
INVITES
All: professional associations, civil society organizations, scientific research institutions (institutes, laboratories, accredited business entities that deal with exposure control and systematic measurements of exposure to non-ionizing radiation), representatives of telecommunication systems in countries in the region, representatives of electrical distribution networks and dispatchers, local representatives (secretariats of health and environmental protection) and representatives of state management bodies (competent ministries of health and environmental protection) to be actively involved in the preparation and work within this conference by preparing and submitting papers on the following key topics:
- Non-ionizing radiation in the service of the advancement of information and communication technologies. environment.
- Protection of health and protection of the environment from the impact and effect of non-ionizing radiation.
- Testing and certification of products for protection against non-ionizing radiation.
The main theme of this conference should ensure a constructive and open dialogue of all participants, with the unique goal of organizing: exchange of experiences between entities in the region that have already adapted to procedures and legal rules in the European Union with countries that are in the process of opening up addressing the topic of Health and Consumer Protection and Environmental Protection (For the Republic of Serbia, these are chapters 27 and 28), achieving cross-border cooperation and launching the initiative of networking associations, civic initiatives and establishing mechanisms for cooperation with official administrative bodies, business entities and interested institutions in the countries of the region to find concrete solutions when it comes to the influence and protection of citizens of the general population and professionally exposed employees of EMZ-NJZ.
We are pleased to inform you that the process of collecting papers: lectures, presentations, poster presentations, etc., for this year's event is OPEN.
Arguments related to the topics of the conference (listed below) are welcomed by a wide range of experts in order to create as wide a platform as possible for open discussion, analysis and a multidisciplinary approach to this problem, and we wish to support and build a joint integration path into the new future, into the future of information and telecommunication technologies, without which all human activity would be meaningless.
Your works and the list of works from the subject of this conference will be analyzed and prepared by the expert committee of the conference organizers and you will be informed in due course about the acceptance and publication of the work within the proceedings of the conference.
IN THE THEMATIC PART AND THE WORKING PART OF THE CONFERENCE WE WILL INCLUDE PAPERS:
• from the area of measurement - dosimetry, exposure to and risk assessment of electromagnetic fields in the work and living environment,
• scientists who study the biological and health effects of EMF-NJZ,
• for the adoption, harmonization and development of acts and regulations on protection against exposure to EMF - NJZ and other missing acts in this area (e.g. Rulebook on the use of solariums, Rulebook on protectors from non-ionizing radiation)
• epidemiologists, biologists, and other experts in the social sciences, (communicologists, environmental protection experts, students, etc.)
• business entities that promote and use means of telecommunications. Electrodistributive centers, networks and systems...
• From the field of information development strategy and education of users of telecommunication devices (teleoperators, internet providers, distributors)
• Organizations and institutions involved in the implementation of the Aarhus Convention with a review of the situation in the area of protection from non-ionizing radiation, and protection of citizens' health and professional exposure,
• With high schools scientific and educational institutions in the fields of biology, medicine, electrotechnical and telecommunications.
Potential authors should note that only original, previously published or unpublished works will be considered for oral or poster presentation, as well as publication in the conference proceedings. All presentations must meet high standards of scientific and technical content.
Papers will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee, which reserves the right to reject, after evaluating the final text submitted by the author. The papers will be collected for the purpose of classification and formation of the final program and sequence of presentations as part of the work of the conference on January 27 and 28, 2017. or poster-presentation.
It is necessary to submit the abstract of the works by 15.12.2016, and by the decision of the Organizing Committee, by 25.12.2016. Proceedings will be started. You will receive the rulebook and an example of the work in the attachment of this letter.
The organizing committee will inform all those who submitted works about their acceptance or non-acceptance in writing (via email) within seven (7) days of the decision on the selection.
