Issuing an opinion for exemption from paying customs duty:
The Ministry of Environmental Protection issues an opinion for exemption from paying customs duty in accordance with Article 217, paragraph 1, item 9 of the Customs Law ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 18/2010) and Article 266 of the Regulation on Customs Permitted Handling of Customs Goods, Release of Customs Goods and Collection of Customs Debt, ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 127/03, 20/04, 24/04, 63/04, 104/04, 44/05, 71/05, 76/05, 106/05, 5/06, 47/06, 86/06, 10/07, 25/07, 80/07, 9/09, 26/09 28/09, 57/09 and 96/09) for:
1. Persons, except natural persons who are engaged in scientific, educational, cultural, sports, recreational, humanitarian, religious activities, technical culture, art, activities of protection of nature and cultural assets and environmental quality control - on goods that are not produced in Serbia, and serve directly for the performance of these activities, except for alcohol and alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and passenger motor vehicles (Article 217, paragraph 1, point 4)
2. Persons, except physical persons - on goods they receive free of charge from abroad for scientific, educational, cultural, sports, humanitarian, religious, health and social purposes, as well as for environmental protection, except for alcohol and alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and passenger motor vehicles (Article 217, paragraph 1, item 5)
3. Persons other than natural persons - to equipment that is not produced in the country, and serves directly for environmental protection (Article 217, paragraph 1, point 9)

Declaration that the goods (equipment) serve directly for environmental protection and for the needs of the applicant's activity;

Copy of the contract on the purchase of goods;

Technical documentation - technical data and characteristics of goods - equipment to be imported;

Certification of the Chamber of Commerce that the equipment is not produced in the Republic of Serbia;
