We have already described the way forks are held. We can hold them in clenched fists, palms up, or with palms down. before we start working, considering that with a fork (as with everything else in nature) one arm is polarized differently and the other differently, we will have to, if we don't know it ourselves, ask someone more experienced to show us which end of the fork goes into the right hand and which into the left hand. We will see that he will make it simple. If it is a wire wound in a loop, he will straighten the wire, separate one end from the other, take a plumb line and simply, holding a finger at one end, ask the question: "Should this end of the fork be placed in the right hand?" If the plumb bob shows it with its circling or a fork characteristic of some other sign that is worth "yes", it means that the end of the fork should always be held in the right hand when working. For this purpose, a small loop is made at that end of the wire, which always reminds us later that that end of the wire should go into the right hand. In addition, this small loop at the end of the wire will serve us well so that when the work is finished, we can easily roll the fork into a ring and put this "basic tool" in our pocket. This marking can also be done on wooden forks so that the leg is cut a little, or marked in any way... It is good to examine it on rectangular forks as well. The movements of the fork are manifested in the form of a sudden upward or downward jerk, and turning in the hands. In most palm-down forks, when they encounter radiation from an underground watercourse, the forks turn counter-clockwise if we look at the movements of the arm in the right hand. That doesn't mean it's like that with everyone. With one of my good friends, an excellent dowser, the case is exactly the opposite. His forks turn clockwise. It is interesting to mention that this is also the case with the plumb bob. If we hold a fork in our hands with the palms facing up, we get opposite movements. It is as if the polarization changes in that case. Sudden jerks up or down, without turning into circular movements, we often get on the field. Considering the polarization of seven signals of one watercourse on one side and the other, which are alternately "+ and -", they are signaled by forks on the field so that each "+" signal jerks upwards, and each "-" jerks downwards. This means that all odd signals of one stream are positive and all even signals are negative. Rectangular forks react only in such a way that when approaching the watercourse the arms cross, and when moving away from the watercourse they diverge, if the arms and arms are held parallel to each other and separated. It may happen on the field that the forks do not behave as we are used to. They turn in the opposite direction. This probably occurs when encountering cavities in the ground and geological fissures. It can also mean natural gas in a larger pit.

What movements can we expect from the plumb line?  We have three main modes: rectilinear movements, circular and elliptical paths. The rectilinear motion is what the swing performs when we swing it. This movement at the plumb line can be in all directions. The length of the movement depends on the weight of the pendulum, on the force that moves it, and on the sensitivity of the person holding the pendulum, the temperature and finally on the length of the thread on which it hangs. Circles describe a plumb line in the same way that a hanging thread describes the envelope of a compartment. Circulations can be of two types:
  1. clockwise and
  2. counterclockwise.

We call the first positive and the second negative. As we mentioned earlier, there are also cases of the opposite, mostly in people with a special reverse polarity of the hands. Elliptical trajectories are formed by a plumb line, when it goes from rectilinear to circular, or vice versa. The pendulum is held in the right hand between the thumb and forefinger. It is best when the elbow is on a solid surface, and the forearm is facing the plane at an angle of 30°. The thread on which the pendulum hangs must not be held tight. The one holding it must be completely calm, relaxed and free from suggestion. A beginner who starts working must know what to expect from his plumb line. You have to learn how to "talk" to the plumb line. In what way will they ask the question and in what way will they understand the answer of the pendulum. Visak can answer the questions with "yes", "no" or hesitate with the answer, something as if he wants to say that the question is not well asked, and finally that he will not give an answer. before we move on to that, to establish how the pendulum will turn or oscillate to get the movements for the above three ways of communicating with the pendulum, I have to give very important instructions, because beginners make a lot of mistakes in this:
  1. Do not in any way suggest that the pendulum should turn to the side you want. Turn off the suggestion completely.
  2. Don't keep the pendulum consciously trying to swing or turn the way you don't want it to. 
Relax and let him do it himself. When you are sure that you are calm, relaxed and able to work, ask the pendulum a simple question, for example: "Is today Wednesday?" Without thinking about what the answer should be, let him start moving on his own. Follow that movement until the plumb bob shows and keeps the same direction of movement for a while. If he has given a certain rotation to the right (clockwise) and if the day is indeed Wednesday, then that is the way you will always get the answer "yes", both now and in the future. If you now ask yourself: "Is my name Srećko?", and you are not called that, you will most likely get the answer in the circle of the plumb line to the left (counter-clockwise), which will be the answer to "no". There is still a swinging of the pendulum in the forward-backward or right-left direction. It could be a way of moving to avoid answering. This is just an example of how it is done, but not an example that it will be the same for everyone. Someone will get a "yes" to move to the left, or rock back and forth. That's why this experiment must be performed by everyone and establish what kind of movement of the plumb line is worth it for him. Given that we can only get an affirmative "yes", a non-affirmative "no" or a withheld answer due to a poorly posed question, we must formulate such a question in our head when composing the question, to which we will receive a "yes" or "no" answer. One example: If you are in a dilemma whether to go to Sisak or Karlovac today and ask the question: "Is it better to go to Sisak or Karlovac?" you will probably get as an answer: Badly asked question! Why? Because to that question, whether you get the answer "yes" or the answer "no", you didn't get anything. However, if you formulate the same question with: "Is it better to go to Sisak than to Karlovac?", then you will get a "yes" or "no" answer, which will satisfy you completely. If we formulate the question well, to which we want to get an answer, then we will get a good answer. Libra will give you an answer to things that are happening or have started to happen, and the result will follow soon, but it is certain that Libra does not "see" into the future, and if he does, you will not get a good and smart answer. If someone wants to get lotto numbers, lottery numbers or sports forecasts using a pendulum, it is certain that they will not get them. Otherwise, all dowsers would have been rich a long time ago, and we know that they are not. One does not become rich from dowsing, and whoever tries to do so will one day find out that even his dowsing abilities fail, and wrong results are born. Why this is so is not known, but experience has shown that it is so. (Literature: Graves) In addition, it is warned that dowsing accessories should not be used to summon spirits. Tom Graves, an English professional dowser warns against doing this. He performed it once and never wants to do it again (He does not comment on what happened to him). One of our dowsers tried it and claims that he felt very bad and does not want to do it again. When working with a plumb line, you have to be careful not to harm someone with your answer, either mentally or physically. Never rush the results! Check, and check again! You need to measure twice and then cut! If we compare work with pitchforks and plumb line, then. we can determine the following: Both the plumb line and the pitchfork give equal results. There are dowsers who prefer to work with forks, others who prefer a plumb bob. My opinion is that the one who combines both methods works best. This is especially noticeable in the case of water investigations. The forks are too sensitive. They register radiation from underground water earlier than vertical. If we cross a stream, the forks show a wider zone to the right and left of the stream. Visak much narrower. The pitchforks occupy both hands while working, the plumb bob leaves one free, which we can use as an antenna. You can walk along the vein of the watercourse with pitchforks and plumb bobs; easier with a plumb line. With forks, it is much easier to get the direction of the water: from which direction it comes and where it goes. With a plumb bob, it is much easier to check your health, work on maps, etc.
