The answers are mostly YES and NO, which means that the question must be phrased that way. By reading the answer that shows the pendulum, the dowser gets information about where and how harmful radiations work in that space. In some cases, the quiescent state of the pendulum may also appear as a third possible answer, but more on that another time.

How to use a plumb line?

The plumb line is attached to a string. For beginners, the length of the rope can be about 10 cm. The plumb line is held by grasping the string with the thumb and forefinger of the leading hand. You must hold the string so that there is no resistance to the pendulum swinging in any direction. The length from where you hold the string to the plumb line is determined over time and the length that suits you best is found. There is a rule that the length of the string determines the speed of getting the answer. If the string is shorter, you will get a faster response and the pendulum is more sensitive, if it is longer, you will have to wait longer for the response, because larger oscillations are needed to move the pendulum.

In order to start using the pendulum first you need to know how it will communicate with you. At the beginning, it is important to ask the pendulum how it will answer with "Yes" and how with "No", because it is different for all people and there is no standardized movement of the pendulum. First, you need to concentrate and exclude all external influences, as well as calm your mind. The question we ask must be as precise as possible, because an imprecise question gives an imprecise or even wrong answer and leads us to wrong conclusions.

Say you are holding a plumb bob in your right hand. The questions can be as follows:

1. Am I holding something?

This is a demonstrative example, but it is necessary to understand the essence of defining the question in order to get the most precise answer that will be error-free. Of course, this will not always be possible. The above example also shows the steps through which you arrive at the most accurate answer and the way you specify each question, which is conditioned by the previous one, for the sake of the highest possible accuracy of the answer.

You can say the questions out loud and to yourself, but to begin with it is preferable to do it out loud. It is important that you check the answers several times, say once a day, until you have absolutely practiced using the plumb line. Beginners are prone to mistakes and should not take every answer for granted until they have practiced using a plumb line.
