In the program of Radio Studio B, the topic of another environmental problem was covered, namely non-ionizing radiation, i.e. radiation from sources that use sources of electrical energy. These include various antennas (especially base stations for mobile devices), routers for wireless internet, mobile phones, laptops, tablets, various electrical devices, etc.

The environmental problem consists in the fact that this radiation is very harmful to the environment, as well as to people, and this manifests itself mostly in close contact with these devices.
Since technology advances and enters every pore of our lives, it is unthinkable to live without it, so to speak. Therefore, 2 things should be separated here, namely that the problem is not in using the technique, but in the way we use the technique.
For example, the problem is not if mothers put their children to sleep by playing music from a mobile phone or tablet, but the problem is if that mobile phone or tablet is located right next to the child's head and thus directly irradiates the child's head, piercing the child's weak skull and entering up to 65% inside the brain. And now look at how the child's brain will develop if it is constantly unnaturally exposed to non-ionizing radiation.
The International Agency for the Study of Tumor Diseases classified this radiation in the 2B tumor risk group 6 years ago, which means that it is a possible cause of tumors in humans.
The next problem is research in this field, because harmful effects only appear after several years of use.
In Serbia, since 2009, there has been a law on non-ionizing radiation, but the law prescribes rules and cannot help us much if we do not pay attention ourselves, i.e. to awaken in ourselves the awareness that the mobile phone is not only a device that helps us, but also gives us the opportunity to damage our health over a certain period. energy absorption), because no one is informed that this information is very important, even rare sellers know it.
