Při dlouhodobé studii závisí vývoj hodnot kožní teploty na různých faktorech, jako je klima a aktuální množství krve subjektu. Podle dosavadních zkušeností z laboratoře IGEF teplotní křivka často vyvolává dlouhodobé zatěžování organismu geobiologickými poli se škodlivým účinkem, tj. přírůstek teplotní křivky se plynule mění v krátkých intervalech. Zdá se, že dlouhodobé vystavení nepříznivým geobiologickým polím je škodlivé pro udržení konstantní tělesné teploty.
