The Law of Polarity: Yin and Yang, Magnetism and Human Polarization
Even the ancient Chinese knew the principle of polarity through the teaching of negative, minus energy (Yin) and positive, plus energy (Yang), which in equal amounts make up the cosmic polarity. In dowsing, this concept is reflected on all living beings and inanimate things, dividing radiation into positive and negative.
Magnetic poles, the Earth's field and the movement of the plumb line
Similar to magnets where like poles repel and opposite poles attract, the Earth also has its own magnetic poles. While the physical definition places the north magnetic pole in the Antarctic region, dowsers adopt a geographical definition that places the north magnetic pole near the Arctic and the south near Antarctica. The difference in relation to the geographic poles is expressed in degrees as declination.
When testing the polarity of a sample with a plumb bob, the "+" polarity usually moves the plumb to the right (clockwise), while the "-" polarity causes the reverse movement. In other words, if the "+" polarity is detected, it indicates that the object is fundamentally negative, and vice versa, except in the case of the existence of an internal mental convention with the instrument.
Polarity in people and partner relationships
As far back as the Middle Ages, the difference in the polarity of the left and right sides in humans was observed, as well as the reverse polarity between men and women. It is considered that a man is usually right-polarized, while left polarity (when the plumb line makes circles to the left) occurs less often, similar to the percentage of left-handed people. It is believed that this polarization may depend on the blood supply of certain parts of the body or astrological influences (such as the position of the planet Mars or the sign of Aries at the time of birth).
An interesting fact about partner relationships
With rare exceptions, partners who have different overall polarity enter into marriage. Practice shows that marriages concluded between persons of the same polarity are often problematic and much more often without children.
